Xbox Lite to be announced for 2013 – Rumour

Microsoft will unveil a new version of Xbox 360 called Xbox Lite. These are rumours spread by MS Nerd, who hasn’t been proven accurate yet, but knows what he is talking about.

So what is Xbox Lite? Apparently it is built on ARM core chipset and costs $100. It’s supposed to play Arcade games and start apps which utilize Kinect. We don’t know accurate details about it yet, but all this seems plausible.

“Details about it are very hazy, except that, like the 360, it will do games for core-audiences & the same media apps as the other device, also with Kinect,” the insider says.

Microsoft has said that they do not plan to reveal any new Xbox this year, and there is no mention of a next-gen Xbox except vague rumours. It will most likely be shown in 2014, though.
