Xbox Live Games With Gold For July Include Kane and Lynch 2 and Grow Up

Not a good selection this month.

Microsoft has announced the games for Xbox Live Games With Gold for the month of July, and… after a few great months, this month’s offerings are definitely disappointing. On the Xbox One, Runbow, as well as Ubisoft’s follow up to Grow HomeGrow Up, this month.

Xbox 360 users will get LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, one of the most forgettable LEGO games to date, and Kane and Lynch 2, a maligned sequel to an even more maligned game; both of these games will of course also be playable on the Xbox One, but again, that’s not going to really make the selection that much better.

After some consistently great months, I suppose a slump was to be expected. Still, this gives Sony an easy in to have the better lineup for this month- they had an excellent selection last month, headlined by Life is Strange on the PS4- hopefully they don’t drop the ball this month, either.
