Xbox Live has been extremely unstable these past few days, suffering frequent outages- it is extremely uncharacteristic for the service to have any down time like this. The problem with Xbox Live, in fact, has gotten to be so bad that Microsoft commented on the problem themselves recently.
In spite of all of that, however, Xbox Live appears to be down right now. Again. The official Xbox Live status page indicates that it is down only for Halo 5: Guardians, however, a number of users are reporting a more general outage of the service on Twitter.
If this is true, then this indicates yet another outage for the service in a long line of outages that it has suffered this year- frankly, from one of the leading providers of software and cloud solutions in the world, this sort of performance for their online service is unacceptable, especially when Microsoft wants to make Xbox Live their primary gaming platform. The fact that we are actually paying for Xbox Live only adds insult to injury.
