In the mood to connect with other players based on various interests, both in gaming and outside of it? A new “interest-based” matchmaking service for the Xbox One called Overdog has recently launched and promises to do just that.

Promising to be the “first of its kind”, Overdog allows you to create a profile filled with your various interests, ranging from music and movies to Machinima and sports. As you add more topics, you’ll find better matches. There are currently more than 1000 topics to choose from with others to be added based on user feedback.

Director of user acquisition Eric Doty stated that. “We want to take some of the anxiety out of being matched up with someone online. Trying to find someone that will help you finish a co-op mission in Destiny or build a castle in Minecraft right now that loves watching Red vs Blue? Overdog can find the right person for you.”
