The Xbox One launched in thirteen countries in November last year, and it has done relatively well for itself, even though the PS4, which was launched more or less worldwide, continues to outsell it on a routine basis. Now, Microsoft is leveling the field, as the Xbox One will finally be launching in countries where it had not yet launched– including the all important Japanese market, as well as other important markets such as India, Russia, Singapore, and Denmark this September.

The full list of the countries that the Xbox One is launching in is as follows:

  • Argentina
  • Belgium
  • Chile
  • Colombia
  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • India
  • Israel
  • Japan
  • Korea
  • Netherlands
  • Norway
  • Poland
  • Portugal
  • Russia
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Singapore
  • Slovakia
  • South Africa
  • Sweden
  • Switzerland
  • Turkey
  • UAE

Microsoft promises us that it will have more details on the launch, including region specific pricing and games, presumably, as soon as April, so stay tuned in the meanwhile.
