Xbox One Exclusive Sea Of Thieves Is ‘Fun, So Much Fun,’ Says Aaron Greenberg

Looks like Rare is back!

Sea of Thieves

We don’t know a whole lot about Sea of Thieves, Rare’s first new non Kinect game in almost a decade, which is set to launch later this year. We have a trailer for it from E3 last year, and we know it’s a colorful, lively looking pirates themed MMO, but what is the game really like?

Speaking to IGN, Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg recently shared some information on Sea of Thieves, and what it actually plays like. “”So I get on the ship and I run around and start hitting him with a fish and he’s like ‘What are you doing? There’s water down below. We’ve got to raise the anchor…’ So he starts putting me to work,” he said of his experience with the game, adding: “It’s just fun. So much fun.”

It sounds like a far more family friendly and typically Rare take on the co-operative multiplayer genre that has already given us Destiny and The Division this generation- and I can’t wait to see what the game is really like.
