Xbox One March Update Available Now

With screenshots being the headlining feature this time around.

Microsoft continues with its charge to continue to update and evolve the Xbox One experience. The newest update to the Xbox One is finally here, and it brings with it a long requested and long lacking feature- the ability to take screenshots at an OS level. Screenshots can be taken by double pressing` the Xbox button on the controller, and then pressing Y to save them. They can also be taken with Kinect voice commands.

Apart from that, there are also smaller, but important quality of life additions and improvements to the package- the system will now suggest friends to you (similar to Facebook and PSN on PS4), new icons being added to party chat, so users know whether people in their party are using Kinect as a mic, or a headset, tile transparency, and the ability to share your real name (another leaf being taken out of PS4’s book).

The update should be rolling out right about now, so if you have an Xbox One, be sure to install it. Screenshots alone make it worth it.
