Xbox One X Rumored To Receive A New Game, Titled “Codename Hollywood”

Time to get excited?

Microsoft’s issues with their lacklustre first party exclusive lineup has been under the fire for a long time, but now more so than ever, especially after the delay of what was probably the Xbox One’s most important release of 2017, Crackdown 3, which in an of itself is a pretty big problem as well. However, it seems like Microsoft may have something up their sleeve yet, to salvage what seems a pretty dire situation.

Apparently, a new Microsoft announcement is incoming, and sooner than you might think, for something that’s for now only being called Codename H0llywood. The game’s been mentioned in a listing on online retailer Saturn, which we discovered through a post on Reddit, and this game’s apparently going to be exclusive to the Xbox One and PC.

As you can see, this is only an online listing, and by no means an official confirmation, and even this doesn’t give us much of an idea about what this Codename Hollywood might be, so take all of this with a pinch of salt. However, it seems in line with a lot of what Phil Spencer has been saying recently, about their being more exclusives being in development for the Xbox One and about more incoming announcements.

Perhaps this is the game that Studio Gobo have been working on in collaboration with Microsoft? Or maybe this is something completely new. Maybe it’s nothing at all. Either way, we’ll find out soon enough. In the meantime, stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued updates.
