The rumors were correct- the Xbox One Scorpio’s official reveal will be coming this Thursday, courtesy of the fine folks at Digital Foundry, the site has confirmed via its official Twitter account. The reveal will be posted at 6am PT/8am CT/9am ET/2pm GST.

The reveal is widely expected to focus on the technical side of the Scorpio, perhaps giving us more insight into its specs; leaks say that multiple games running on the Scorpio may also be assessed and exhibited, although how much of that is true is unclear as of right now. However, one thing is for sure- this Thursday, we should know exactly how powerful the Scorpio is.

We may not learn its official name, or its price, however- those might be announcements Microsoft plans to save for later, maybe for an E3 announcement. But it will be good to have some of the relentless speculation around the console be put to rest with some cold, hard facts.
