Microsoft has unveiled a new colour variant for its Xbox Series X/S controller. As part of its Vapor series of controllers, the new controller is now available in a new Nocturnal Vapor Special Edition. Microsoft describes the colour scheme as being inspired by “nature at night”.

Much like any other Xbox Series X/S controller, the new Nocturnal Vapor controller comes with all of the bells and whistles you would expect, including the ability to connect it to PC, Android, iOS, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Microsoft boasts 40 hours of battery life (depending on usage, of course) while playing through Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth technology.

Xbox is far from a stranger to releasing new controllers, and back in February, showed off its Dune-inspired floating controller, which makes use of a special stand to float over one of the sandy dunes of desert planet Arrakis. The company has also, in the past, released a controller that smells like pizza.

The new Nocturnal Vapor Special Edition controller is available to pre-order in select Xbox markets, and is priced at $69.99.
