Firaxis’s XCOM 2 will be receiving a Digital Deluxe Edition when it releases this February along with the Reinforcement Pack, which is essentially an expansion pass for the game’s upcoming three expansions.
The Reinforcement Pack on its own will cost $20 and features Anarchy’s Children, a rebellion-themed pack with soldier customizations (Spring 2016); Alien Hunters which features an elite alien hunting unit, new mission, soldier customization options and more weapons and armour (Summer 2016); and Shen’s Last Gift which comes with a new soldier class, unique weapons that can be upgraded and a new narrative mission and map (Summer 2016).
If you pick up the Digital Deluxe Edition, it will cost you $75 and includes the Reinforcement Pack, base game and the official soundtrack. Those who pre-order XCOM 2 will also pick up the Resistance Warrior Pack which features “facial war paint”, a recruit called the “Survivor of the Old War” and other customization options like outfits and headgear.
