XCOM 2 Minimum and Recommended System Requirements Released

Firaxis’s XCOM 2 recently received new information on upcoming post-launch content and the developer also revealed new information system requirements. You’ll need Windows 7 64-bit, DirectX 11 and 45 GB internal storage in both cases but overall, the requirements on PC are fairly decent.

Minimum system requirements include an Intel Core 2 Duo E4700 2.6 GHz or AMD Phenom 9950 Quad Core 2.6 GHz, 4 GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 460/ATI Radeon HD 5770 with 1 GB video memory or better. Recommended system requirements are slightly higher – a 3 GHz quad-core CPU is necessary along with 8 GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 770/ATI Radeon HD 7970 with 2 GB video memory or better.

An Internet connection and Steam authentication is necessary which is pretty much standard procedure for PC games these days. XCOM 2 is out on February 5th 2016 for PC, Mac OS X and Linux.
