Firaxis’s XCOM 2 is receiving excellent reviews and will be available to the general public starting at midnight on the West Coast in the United States. In the meantime, Steam users can pre-load the game and play it as soon as it goes live.
The game unlocks at 9:01 PM on February 4th for the West Coast while the East Coast receives it at 12:01 AM on February 5th. Europe, Russia and Africa receive it on 12:01 AM CET on February 5th while Asia and Australia will get it the latest on 5:01 AM AEST on February 5th. The pre-load is roughly 24.7 GB but the full installation size will be somewhere around 40 GB when the process is done.
XCOM 2 is only coming to PC, Linux and Mac OS as opposed to XCOM: Enemy Unknown/Within which came to PS3 and Xbox 360 as well. Will you be picking it up? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more information on the game in the coming days.
