XCOM: Enemy Unknown Offers Up “Our Last Hope” in Trailer

Take the fight to the alien menace in Firaxis Games' XCOM.

Firaxis Games’ XCOM: Enemy Unknown is looking better and better, but the stakes are high in the game. As the new trailer indicates, the XCOM squad may be our last hope. Because of, you know, aliens and shit, that kind of thing.

The game allows you to recruit and train your own squad, leveling them up and pushing them across different missions which are a mix of turn based tactical play and action. Of course, character death is permanent so tough decisions will have to be made when wiping out the alien menace.
