Nintendo has released a new trailer for the upcoming RPG Xenoblade Chronicles 3. The trailer, simply dubbed Aionios, is meant to showcase the world of Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

The trailer features sweeping panoramic views of Aionios, with some of the locales that will likely be visited throughout the game, as well as some quick looks at what kind of enemies can be expected to be fought in these places.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3, coming out exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on July 29, features a core cast of six playable characters. There will also be other characters encountered throughout the story that are playable as well, but they will likely not join the core party.

Earlier this year, several clips were released showing off Xenoblade Chronicles 3‘s improved combat system. Along with the ability to switch between playable characters in the middle of a fight, a new mechanic allows players to re-orient themselves, allowing them to get into better positions for positional attacks.

When Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was originally announced, it was set for a September release window. However, not long afterward afterward, Nintendo ended up moving its release date up to July.
