Earlier in the year we got the surprising, but very welcome, announcement that cult classic XIII would be seeing a return to modern systems. The original game came out ages ago, but didn’t find a major audience. Those who did know it, though, loved it and they especially loved the game’s stylish comic book style look. Today we got a few screenshots to show the remake retains that great look.

Publisher Microids released the screens which show a few of the game’s different settings. It also gives us a good look at the game’s comic book art style complete with fun comic effects like “BOOOOM!” It goes all out to remind you this game is based on a comic series. Check them out below.

XIII was originally slated to come out later this year, but got pushed back to early 2020. When it does release you’ll be able to get it on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
