Yakuza-Like-a-Dragon-2-2

The next installment in the Yakuza series is a big reinvention of the series. While the series has always been a more action styled beat’em up, Like A Dragon/Yakuza 7 will be a full blown RPG. And it’s embracing its new role with a lot of zest and so far the reviews have been pretty positive. But there’s still more information to come.

Sega announced a special live stream to celebrate the Japanese launch. It will feature several voice actors for key characters talking about the game as they countdown to the game’s release.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon will release exclusively on PlayStation 4 in Japan on January 16th. The launch stream will be January 15 at 20:00 JST at the official YouTube, which you can check out through here. No date outside of Japan has been set yet, but it is slated to come out later in the year for North America and Europe.
