This holiday season, the Yakuza series is going big time as the newest entry, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, will be releasing on multiple different platforms at the same time, a first for the series (though technically it was available at the beginning of the year in Japan, but let’s ignore that for now). The game has been one tied to Microsoft’s next gen console as well in its marketing, and will be one of the launch titles for that system. It also appears that it’ll look and run pretty smooth.

The game’s Microsoft Store listing was recently updated to confirm the game will run at 4K on Series X, which isn’t surprising, as well as a tag for 60 FPS+. That means the game will run at least at that framerate, with the potential for more, though as of now no 120 FPS mode has been confirmed. The original PS4, and presumably the upcoming Xbox One, release run at 30 FPS. The listing doesn’t make clear if the Series S will also ran at 60 FPS, but presumably it will at a lower resolution. The Series X enhancements will also presumably carry over to the PS5 release that will come out next year, which you can see footage of here, but as of now there’s nothing official. And, of course, PC users can play with resolution all you want, and you can see the requirements for that through here.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon releases November 10th for PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. A PlayStation 5 version will release March 2nd, 2021.
