ZombiU “Get Out of London” Wii U Trailer Reveals Gameplay Elements

Overstatement of the year, huh?

Posted By | On 14th, Nov. 2012

Ubisoft wants you to get out of London in the new trailer for the upcoming Wii U first person shooter title ZombiU. Because of zombies and stuff.

But rather then beat us over the head with fast cuts, zombies, slow motion blood shots and zombies running (plus more fast cuts), Ubisoft takes the opportunity to showcase the various gameplay elements, most specifically those used by the Wii U Gamepad.

You essentially orient the screen around as you move the Gamepad, manning turrents and shooting zombies as you do so. But it’s not quite a mouse look. Hm. Regardless, you can manage your inventory like others manage their apps on tablets, plus upgrade weapons to make them more potent.

You can also position a sniper scope via the Gamepad, navigate different areas on the map and much more, seemingly before your life turns into the game. Hm.

ZombiU launches with the Wii U in North America this November 18th.
