Zynga will be making its first foray into the world of real money gambling with ZyngaPlusPoker and ZyngaPlusCasino, which are both set to launch on April 3rd in the UK.

Zynga chief revenue officer Barry Cottle posted on the company blog that, “Launching the download and web versions of Zynga’s real money games for play in the UK is an exciting move to bring players the real money games they have been asking us for.

“We look forward to launching our social versions of real money games for players on Facebook and mobile in the UK throughout 2013.

“Our long term vision is to offer our players the next generation of real money games on multiple platforms in regulated markets worldwide.”

Of course, Zynga has already filed a preliminary finding for release in the United States wit the Nevada Gaming Control Board last December. Since the process takes about 12 to 18 months, we can expect to to see it release somewhere in 2014 for the US.
