2. Jill Valentine:

A bit of a late bloomer, Jill didn’t crop up until the original PlayStation was on the scene. She’s held out through the years, making appearances as either the main character or a supporting character in plenty of Resident Evil games since the beginning of the series. She is beautiful, cunning and a dangerous person to be on the wrong side of. Her dedication to the STARS team and stopping the Umbrella Corporation has made a strong impression in the hearts of many gamers and horror fans.

Jill Valentine has fought off zombies in a time where a game’s protagonists were almost solely male characters. She’s held her own against the undead, mutated fish-people and parasites with a level of calm that all those around her certainly didn’t have.  She’s a testament to female empowerment and can hold her own with the best of her male, zombie slaying counterparts. Jill is certainly someone you would want in your corner during a zombie apocalypse.
