Good news everyone – Capcom’s dungeon crawling, online action RPG Deep Down is still very much alive. Though it didn’t release in 2014 for either Japan or the West, Capcom continues work on the game into the new year. In fact, it’s released some new screenshots to show off the excellent visuals. Check them out below.

The dungeon showcased is the Green Dungeon which follows the same theme as earlier dungeons in representing an element. This time it’s water though the enemies don’t seem content to stay dormant in their aquatic habitats for long.

New details for the game also emerged via producer Kazunori Sugiura’s Twitter in which he said that the last check of the year had been performed and that boss fights are being fine-tuned. In fact, it seems the boss fights managed to earn the respect of Street Fighter 5 producer Yoshinori Ono. As it stands, Sugiura promises to meet the expectations of consumers in 2015.
