Destiny 2 Crucible

Bungie’s open beta for Destiny 2 is now officially available for players on the Xbox One and PS4. Regardless of whether you pre-ordered or not, you can download the beta and see what the game has to offer.

Destiny 2’s open beta includes the first story mission Homecoming; a co-op Strike called The Inverted Spire involving the Vex; two Crucible modes in Countdown and Control with two maps; and a chance to try out the new sub-classes like the Arcstrider Hunter, Dawnblade Warlock and Sentinel Titan.

Players can also try out the new weapons, Kinectic/Energy/Power system of load-outs and much more. Heck, you can even glitch into a Lost Sector if you’re clever enough. It should be noted that the Homecoming mission can be played without PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold. Every other mode and mission requires its respective console’s subscription service.

The beta will also be coming to PC but in late August. Destiny 2 is out on September 6th for Xbox One and PS4 while the PC version arrives on October 24th.

Xbox one version is weakest of all …. LOL

Oddly enough the latest news say “The Xbox One S version is almost identical to the Pro version” and that is on this site.

Watch digital foundry review……..PS4 Vs Xbox One……..

As I said… Xbox One is the worst version

      Gaming bolt.
      Xbox One S
How does that hold up? While it is impossible to know for now how the game will perform on Microsoft’s supercharged Xbox One X, we can still at least see how it does on the Xbox One S, and compare it to the PS4 and PS4 Pro versions, right?

Thanks to this comparison video from CyCu1, we can see that the Xbox One S version actually holds up surprisingly well- most differences are rather difficult to spot, and I imagine it will necessitate pixel counting to try to figure out the proper resolution differences between this version and the PS4 version.

Will you still be looking to Digital Foundry for Multi format title comparisons come November when the PS4 will have to go up against the Xbox1X ?
Or will Digital Foundry suddenly become irrelevant to you ?

    • LifeOnMars

So the Xbox One is the worst version. ….Thank you and good day…

    • Fweds

So you can’t really see any difference and you need to go to a tech site for them to tell you of any, sounds a little sad really.

      Still roll on November.

    • LifeOnMars

Let’s hope it is November you have waited long enough for the Xbollox.
In November Xbox one will still be the weakest version

    • LifeOnMars

That so callled pointless console will out sell Xbollex by 3:1 worldwide.

    • Smart guy

Replace the “pro” with the slim or base. Pro isn’t worth it. If u want a mid gen upgrade the X1X will be the route to go for the best looking games but you can still play the ps exclusives on base/slim.
