Destiny 2

Destiny 2 is here, and the excitement is palpable. Chances are, you know at least a few people who’ve given up on social life and dived straight into the game, to be found again hundreds of hours later. The first Raid for Destiny 2 is also almost here, and by the looks of it, it’s going to be a stunner. We’ve got our hands on some details from a possible leak of the Raid, and it definitely looks interesting.

The leak comes from a Reddit user, who claims to have been in contact with someone who got to play-test the new Raid on Bungie’s private servers, so as always, this is unconfirmed and you should take it with a pinch of salt. The details included contain some spoilers, and we’re going to try and avoid them for you, so here’s the basic details. Firstly, it looks like the Raid is going to be a very dynamic mission, beginning on the surface of the Earth and then progressing out into Outer Space.

As per the leak, it is apparently “the most technical raid” ever, and there’s plenty of gameplay variation too. For instance, there’s a mini-horde mode in the middle of then mission, and on-rails chase sequence that sees you flying a ship, puzzles and boss fights as well. Also, apparently the weapons and the armour in the raid are top notch as well, so that’s something else to look forward. Another big addition is that the Raid is allegedly going to include plenty of cutscenes as well.

There’s also some details regarding the story and the lore, laden with spoilers of course, so if you want to check it all out in full detail, click through the link provided above. Destiny 2 is out now for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued coverage on the game.
