There is no doubt that the eight generation of console gaming has been marked by a lot of controversy and some serious exchange of emotions between the PlayStation and Xbox fan base. But in the grand schemes of things does it matters? At least for Sony, it does not matter at all.

The Xbox One will be launching across 29 different regions in this month. It has already launched in Netherlands yesterday and the PlayStation team tweeted a message welcoming the launch of Xbox One. Now, not too many companies would do that but as you can see above, the PlayStation team just did that by uploading a video titled ‘Gefeliciteerd met de launch van de Xbox One in Nederland’ which translates to ‘Congratulations on the Xbox One launch in the Netherlands.’

Kudos to Sony and the PlayStation team for keeping the spirit of Sportsmanship alive. Thoughts? Let us know in the comments section below.

That’s funny stuff. Sony spent the last year and a half poking fun while Microsoft offered well wishes and congratulations. Now Sony says welcome once and they are good sportsmen? Bravo.

      No, that’s not what happened.

  • Brian

iam sure they did this on their own, and SONY had no knowledge of it

  • Volpejr

Kinda nice to see but that’s not like Sony at all. Sony’s done nothing but take cheap shots at Microsoft while Microsoft has been nothing but complimentary and cordial towards Sony since they launched the ps4.

      Completely wrong.

And of course this comments section is full of fanboys spreading their hate.
