Grand Theft Auto 5’s Marketing Begins, New Screenshots Released

Rockstar Games has released a bunch of new GTA 5 screenshots which kind of gives an idea of how the game will actually look. These do not seem like bullshots as we can see a lot of jaggies and other things in the image which gives an impression that it isn’t doctored.

The game has received a lot of marketing material before and also a bunch of artwork which you can check out here. The game will be released sometime in Spring 2013 and we have a lot more information on it courtesy of GameInformer and other interviews.

Amazon has been hinting at a March 2013 but it looks like that seems to be a placeholder since you can’t expect them to release on the same month as Bioshock Infinite. It seems that Rockstar has started promoting the game as well, and we see some massive posters in Poland. (via GTA-five.pl)

The game will feature three protagonists and you can read more information on that over here.

We have also got a few new screenshots of the game which shows one of the protagonist in action. You can check out the new screenshots below. (via Gamesblog.it)

Just by looking at the draw distance of the last screen, it goes to show the kind of effort that Rockstar are putting in the game. The game comes hits the retail shelves this Spring, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The PC version has not been confirmed yet but if we take a  look at previous PC versions of the franchise, it should be a few months after the console releases.

Check out this second GTA 5 trailer.
