Mass Effect 2 Available For Free on Origin

Mass Effect 2 is EA’s newest free game on Origin as part of its On The House promotion. Simply log into Origin, navigate to the Free Deals tab and simply redeem the game. You don’t even have to start downloading it immediately and it’s yours to keep forever.

This version of Mass Effect 2 includes the official documentary, Zaeed: The Price of Revenge DLC and more such goodies. The other DLC like Lair of the Shadow Broker isn’t included so you’ll need to pay extra if you want all the additional content.

With Mass Effect: Andromeda releasing on March 21st for North America and March 23rd for Europe, now’s as good a time as any to get into the series.

To its credit, Mass Effect 2 is considered one of the best games ever made and arguably the greatest in the series thanks to its combat, quests, storyline and over-arching consequences. What are your thoughts on getting it for free? Let us know below.
