Mass Effect 3 Citadel DLC Trailer: No, I’m Not Going to Cry

Okay, maybe just a little.

But seriously, it’s hard not to get all teary-eyed when looking at the trailer for the final single-player DLC pack for Mass Effect 3, Citadel. Due to release on March 5th for Xbox 360, PC and PS3, it features some awesome action, new settings and lots of new missions.

More importantly, it’s the farewell tour and Bioware knows it. Every crew member is on hand for the DLC, and you’ll even see older friends make appearances. Did we mention the sweet crib that Shepard gets? Or the reference to The Joker from The Dark Knight? Of course, that’s not counting the alternate costumes, romance options and much more.

It’s almost a bit too much. But it is “one last adventure”, and looks to be the best single-player DLC pack till date for Mass Effect 3. Shepard may or may not die – depending on which ending you subscribe to – but his legacy and that of Bioware will live forever.

All my tears were shed in the disappointment that was the ending. I will say at least they did address love interest and at least they said this wasn’t going to do crap for the overall game. At this point, I don’t see myself returning back to Bioware at all. They left one too many loss ends even with the EC. Especially with the breathing scene after destroy. It was fun, but after getting kicked in the balls for the last year by Bioware, I’m done. If you like the EC, have fun with what is to come. I wish I could agree, yet I’m not as forgiving.
