Square Enix’s latest mainline title in the SaGa series is now available with SaGa Emerald Beyond. Featuring six playable characters and 17 worlds to explore, it’s playable on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android. Check out the launch trailer below.
Each character embarks on an inter-dimensional adventure for different purposes, whether you play as Ameya Aisling, who seeks to retrieve her magic powers, or Diva No. 5, a former singer turned robot looking to restore her voice and memories. As players venture across the worlds, they’ll encounter different events with several endings to unlock.
Combat utilizes a timeline, allowing players to interrupt an enemy before it attacks. However, there are also mechanics like randomly learning attacks via the Glimmering system in battle and executing chain called United Attacks to deal massive damage.
