On PS3 3D, Valve Says ‘We Will Wait for Portal 3’

Posted By | On 28th, Jul. 2010

Ruling out 3D from their upcoming title, Portal 2, which was surprisingly announced on the PS3 as well, on Sony’s home console, they said that the new tech will “have to wait for Portal 3” until is can be incorporated in one of their games.

Valve marketing boss Doug Lombardi said, “Move and 3D will have to wait for Portal 3 or another title,” he added. “We won’t be supporting those in Portal 2.”

On the possibility of Left 4 Dead 3 being  released on the PS3, Lombardi said very tantalisingly, “Who knows what the future will bring?”

Portal 2 will be the best on the Playstation 3, as reported by Valve during Sony’s E3 conference. Hit the link above for more details.
