Overwatch on Nintendo Switch is “Very Challenging” – Director

Blizzard always "open minded" about other platforms though.

Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch is quickly approaching its first year anniversary, notching up more than 25 million registered players since launching. It’s available on PS4, Xbox One and PC but could it ever come to the Nintendo Switch at some point?

Director Jeff Kaplan responded to the query on Reddit and noted that, “Getting Overwatch on the Switch is very challenging for us. But we’re always open-minded about exploring possible platforms.”

That being said, Kaplan is having fun with the Switch, calling The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild a “masterpiece.”

Overwatch fans have quite a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks. Along with teases of new story content, Blizzard will be adding a brand new hero in the form of Orisa (currently available on the Public Test Realm server).

Would you like to see Overwatch on the Nintendo Switch at some point in the future? Let us know in the comments.
