Overwatch’s Next Hero is Orisa The Tank

Anchora gives way to Orisa.

Blizzard Entertainment has finally taken the wraps off of its next hero for Overwatch: Orisa, a Tank created Efi Oladele and possessing some very interesting abilities.

These are outlined by director Jeff Kaplan below but in short, she has a long-range projectile weapon called the Fusion Driver which slows her while shooting; a protective barrier; an ability called Fortify that reduces damage taken while preventing her from being stopped; “Halt!” which launches a graviton charge which can be detonated to slow and pull nearby enemies close; and her Ultimate “Supercharger” which increases damage inflicted by allies.

Orisa is currently available to play on the Public Test Realm where the team is also testing some further changes to Bastion (who has upset the meta significantly since his recent buff).

What are your thoughts on the new Overwatch hero? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information on her in the coming weeks.
