Shin Megami Tensei: Persona IV has been, for some time now, a fan favourite installment in the long running popular RPG franchise, and it seems that PS3 owners will now be able to experience it in all its glory. It may not be the delight that Persona 4: Golden was for the PS Vita, but the PS3 is getting Persona 4 which is a PS2 Classic on PSN.

“You’ve been waiting for this!” says Atlus, who seem just as excited as us, quite understandably. “Persona 4 is coming to PSN as a PS2 Classic.” It’s a bit of a shame, though, that only a North American release has been announced so far.

“[There’s] nothing scheduled for EU right now,” says Atlus.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona IV will be out for the PS3 in North America on April 8 for a price of $9.99. You should definitely buy the game, it will be well worth the money.
