We have got our hands on the latest video from Portal 2. We just got this from the Valve and damn this is hot! The video shows footage that introduces Stephen Merchant as Wheatley, In addition to introducing Merchant, the footage gives a deeper look into Aperture Science and shows off some of the new rendering effects in the game, which is due for release on Feb 9, 2011 for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PC and Mac. Portal 2 picks up hundreds of years after the events of the first Portal. Once again, players will fill the nonexistent shoes of Chell, who has been kept in stasis since the end of the original game, having recently been “re-acquired” by an unknown party. Portal 2 will feature a brand new single player story along with the new addition of co-op multiplayer.

I love listening to the Ricky Gervais XFM radio show and podcasts, so my love for Smerch knows no bounds, very excited that he’s apart of this. We don’t get enough of that crew stateside.
