Chalk it up to Black Friday but in the week ending November 26th in the UK, the PS4 had its best-selling week since launch according to Gfk Chart-Track.

Games Industry International reported that PS4 sales were up by over 140,000 units which is 50,000 units higher than the Xbox One. Discounts on various bundles helped both platforms and it was possible to acquire some for as little as £200. This also helped titles like Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and DriveClub have stronger presences in the games charts for this week.

It’s also worth noting that the PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro, along with Xbox One S, would have also contributed to the rise in sales for the week. The Xbox One has been on a pretty significant tear for some time now so it will be interesting to see if regains its momentum when the current week is up.

What are your thoughts on the sales? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
