The company announced that the PlayStation 4 sold 5.7 million units during this time and has sold through more than 35.9 million units as of January 3rd. Digital and retail software sales are at 35 million units worldwide. PlayStation Plus subscribers were also up by 60 percent by 2015 end compared to the same period in 2014.

President and global CEO Andrew House announced that, “We are absolutely delighted that so many customers have selected PS4 as the best place to play throughout this holiday season and that the PS4 community is growing more than ever.
