Sony Working On Getting Until Dawn Archived Streams Re-enabled

'We didn't mean for it to be disabled.'

Until Dawn PS4 7

There was a minor uproar recently, when it turned out that the newly released PlayStation 4 exclusive horror game, Until Dawn, had the VoD feature for Twitch streams disabled- essentially this meant that, while you could stream the game to others just fine, you couldn’t actually archive the stream, so viewers who missed the stream would be able to see it later.

In a new statement, Sony explained that the feature being disabled was an error on their part, and promised a fix was coming soon.

“We are currently working on a fix that will enable archiving of Until Dawn Twitch streams as this feature was unintentionally disabled. We are humbled by the community reception of the game and are excited to see fans sharing experiences on Twitch and YouTube. We apologize for the inconvenience and will provide an update as soon as the issue has been resolved.”

Until Dawn is out now, exclusively on PlayStation 4.
