The Witcher 2

If you were a fan of CD Projekt RED’s exemplary The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and have been interested in playing the previous games in the series, then Microsoft and CD Projekt RED will make it at least a little easier for you- The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, which launched on the Xbox 360 in 2012, will be made available on the Xbox One via the console’s backwards compatibility feature.

CD Projekt RED’s community manager Marcin Momot has confirmed on Twitter that the second game in the franchise will be made available on the Xbox 360 in the future- though an exact date has not yet been nailed down. This news came alongside the slightly disappointing news that there probably won’t be any remasters of the older games for the current generation systems.

LMAO,at all the Sonyfangirls who think that backward compatibility is not all that.this is one game you still won’t be able to play unless you have a PC or xbox

Have you seen SONY are NOT allowing digital or hardcopy of any games you have bought even for their “PS2” emulator !!!!.
They are actually charging around $15 a game for you to run a PS2 game on the PS4 and tough luck if you already paid for them.

What I find funny is the Sony lapdogs are actually making excuses for this ripoff.

You have to laugh at them especially knowing that the original Xbox console compatibility for Xbox One will also soon be here, FREE of course, you don’t have to buy or rent games you have already paid for.

Sounds cool, Witcher 3 was my first witcher, so I might see how much it is and snag it.
