Mad Max

Warner Bros. has had it pretty bad lately with its PC ports- Mortal Kombat X, which was outsourced to High Voltage Software, was a disaster, and Batman: Arkham Knight, which was outsourced to Iron Galaxy, was so bad that Warner Bros. actually had to suspend all further sales of the PC version until they rebuilt the entire game to an acceptable standard.

So, being wary of an upcoming PC version of a Warner Bros. game? That’s a very reasonable stance to take. Nevertheless, there are those who like to live dangerously. If you are one of those people you probably want to run Mad Max on your PC. In which case, you need to know what the required specs are.

Here goes:

Minimum:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows Vista, 7, or 8
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-650, 3.2 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 Ghz
  • RAM: 6 GB
  • Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660ti (2 GB Memory or higher) or AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2 GB Memory or higher)
  • DirectX: DX11
  • HDD: 32 GB available space

Recommended:

  • OS: 64 bit: Win 7 SP1, Win 8.1
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz
  • RAM: 8 GB RAM
  • Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (3 GB Memory or higher) or AMD Radeon HD 7970 (3 GB Memory or higher)
  • DirectX: DX11
  • HDD: 32 GB available space

The 6GB RAM requirement is making me think this might not be the best optimized port again, but… I guess we will find out once the game launches on September 1 on PC, and Xbox One and PS4.

Stay tuned.
