You Should Be Able to Platinum The Order: 1886 In One Day

Obtaining Trophies in the upcoming PS4 exclusive seems to be a fairly easy task.

The Order 1886

Ready At Dawn’s The Order: 1886 is one of the major releases of this month and will mark the first big exclusive for the PlayStation 4 in 2015. Some users have already gotten their hands on the game though and revealed their Trophy progress.

What’s interesting about the progress of one such user, TacFIN, is that 20 out of the 22 Trophies in the game were earned in about 24 hours or may be even less. The only two Trophies to remain are collecting all the phonograph cylinders (classified as Ultra Rare) and the Platinum Trophy earned from collecting all the other Trophies in the game. So essentially, if you take out a day or so, playing continuously, you can easily obtain all the Trophies in The Order: 1886 without much fuss.

This may vary from user to user but the trophy set does not look to be challenging. The Order: 1886 is out on February 20th for PS4. Stay tuned for more information on the game as we near its launch. For more on The Order: 1886 check out our hub page here.

It doesn’t have multiplayer this shouldn’t be a big surprise.

    • GamingBolt

This again shows that SP might turn out to be roughly 12 hours. In my personal opinion, that is great.

    • TheAdjustmentBureau

Well i was hoping it would take me more than a day to platinum. I like my games to last.

    • djentmaven

Yeah if you play 24 hours straight maybe…i would say a good 2-3 play throughs to do it. Like Uncharted or God of War.

    • jb227

That’s what the first user said, he couldn’t get it on 2 playthroughs & he was starting his 3rd & assuming he’d be able to get it then. Most normal folk don’t have 24 straight free hours to drop on a game, much less the inclination to play until your eyeballs bleed & the seizures start, so the headline is a bit misleading in that regard. You “should” be able to eat a whole cow in 24 hours, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

    • Dirkster_Dude

I doubt you could eat a whole cow, but I do understand your point. Basically, a 1000lb (450kg) cow when alive would end up with 430lb (200kg) of meat. If you want details check here and look under “Cattle Processing” —

hahaha I’ll just take your word for it. One burger at a time for me. Metaphors aren’t my strong suit if you can tell.

    As I said…

  • jakdripr

Yea I was worried this would be the case, I buy like 3 or 4 games every year, so the few that I buy I prefer to last longer than a weekend. I’d say I was disappointed, but this was pretty much what I was expecting. Shame bloodborne got pushed to March, that was going to be my main purchase this month, but guess ill have to wait.

    • WhyWai

well the game is definitely not for you if you only buy 3-4 games a year… Have fun with the other parts of your life instead 🙂

    • you don’t have to buy the game to play it. I buy around the same amount of games as you do but I have a gamefly account so I end up playing most of the major titles (and whatever sony decides to give away for Plus)

    • jakdripr

This is true, if it becomes free on plus ill definitely check it out.

  • Who plays for 24 hours straight? The platinum might be easy, but it’ll take more than a day.

  • Matthew Bryant

This is true of most first and third person shooters that don’t have or require multiplayer for trophies. It was true of Uncharted 1,2, and 3 as well as Bioshock Infinite, Wolfenstein The New Order, and a number of other similar games. 20-25 hours to platinum games like this is status quo. What you should be paying attention to is the fact that he’s already played it for about 24 hours. That suggests he liked it enough to do more than one playthrough.

  • OptionalLemon

Who cares about Trophies? Is the game any good?

  • ImOnaDrugCalledSheen

Wow good thing I have a life and dont play video games for 24 hours straight.

  • Jecht_Sin

A guy has got Platinum in Dead Space in 13 hours or so:

And that required to beat the game in the hardest mode. I never heard anyone complaining that Dead Space was too short.

  • Mike

So since I play about 5 hours a week, this will keep me busy a few weeks. Not bad. I will have it done just before Bloodborne and Borderlands release

  • Stobbart

Got the game this morning and beat the game on hard mode in about 6 hours and got all trophies.
