007 First Light

IO Interactive just tweeted about some free DLC heading to 007 First Light, a game that we’d like to remind you sold 1.5 million copies in its first 24 hours.

Yeah, it’s that good, and it was definitely our favorite Bond game once we were done reviewing it. We’re definitely keeping an eye out for whatever the studio has planned for this one on October 1st, and think it’s a good idea to wait for official details since that clip of an empty field and fast-moving vehicle could mean anything. We were half expecting Bond to emerge from the grass somewhere, his eyes trained on a distant target, but that was not the case, and you already know where we stand on haphazard guesswork.

Still, it’s good to know that the Switch 2 version isn’t the only thing the studio is working on, and we’re hoping that tomorrow’s reveal comes with the promise of additional content. That is, besides the Bawma mission, New Game Plus, and other previously announced additions.

007 First Light is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. As of August, it’s sold four million copies – not bad, considering it launched in late May.
