inFamous Second Son
On top of serving as a strong showcase for the PS4’s hardware at launch, inFamous Second Son also provided a fresh new setting for the series. It introduced a likeable protagonist in Delsin Rowe, who could harness multiple powers like Smoke, Neon, etc., and incorporate parkour into combat.
The new setting, Seattle, was also as gorgeous as a fun playground, with Delsin alternating between fighting the Department of Unified Protection, liberating districts and taking time out for some sick graffiti. It may not break the mould or revolutionize the genre, but inFamous Second Son lets you cut loose in super-powered fashion while telling a good story.
