10. Rome: Total War 2
The Total War series has gone from strength to strength over its illustrious reign of terror, with each instalment offering more immersive elements when it comes to managing vast armies and empires. Though the chronological themes have shifted immensely throughout the franchise, it was in ancient Rome that the Total War series really put itself on the map. 2013 will see the series returning to where it truly began, and boy does it look good.
