Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Showcases The Minds Behind Its Multiplayer Offerings In New Video

It’s nice to see the passion behind an experience that has done well to be as enjoyable and challenging as it can be, flaws and all.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 seems eager to pull the spotlight back on the game itself after it courted controversy recently.

The latest effort’s certainly a step in the right direction, showcasing the team behind the game and their passion and vision for what’s on the table this year. It’s interesting to see ideas come together between team members who know their stuff and are also happy to be in the room. That’s a great combination in any creative space, and it’s certainly a nice one here, made even better by the rapport these talented individuals share. Even the makers of Call of Duty suffer from last-minute nerves when the moment to go live finally arrives.

It probably helped what we’ve felt is a marked improvement from what’s launched over the last few years on both the campaign and multiplayer fronts. Yes, there were complaints, but they were nothing too bad compared to how lackluster previous years’ efforts have been. We hope the team sustains that forward momentum and builds on it in the coming years, especially with the series seemingly over. In the meantime, however, multiplayer support continues with Season 1 recently going live and adding six new PvP maps.
