Team Ninja’s Nioh doesn’t immediately thrust you into demon-slaying action – instead, protagonist William is tasked with escaping his cell in the Tower of London. Though serving as a tutorial for the game’s combat and Ki management, there are still plenty of tense moments like having to sneak by guards until you get a weapon. Even with some decent equipment, however, the guards aren’t necessarily pushovers.
