1. Mass Effect

And here it is- the best new franchise of the seventh generation of gaming. Sure, the final act of Mass Effect 3 is a very controversial one- some even say that it’s bad enough to ruin the entire franchise- but we feel that nothing is bad enough to ruin the 90 hours of truly unforgettable and expertly crafted gameplay and story that Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3 delivered. Yes, not even that ending with all its loopholes and unanswered questions. Combining thrilling, memorable characters, an engaging story and some truly tough decision making segments in one package, the Mass Effect games gave us what have to be some of the best hours of gaming we have had in the past decade or so.
