6. Batman: Arkham Series
Very few Batman games were ever good until a few years ago, with a few like Rise of Sin Tzu being the exceptions, but even the ones that somehow managed not to suck were nothing exceptional. Developer Rocksteady came onto the scene and completely changed how we looked at Batman games- not only are they great Batman games or comic book games, they’re just excellent games in general. So much so, that each new Batman game announced now literally has us fidgeting with out controls with nervous anticipation. Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are two of the best games to have come out of any developmental house in the last few years, and will always be remembered as the games that gave the Caped Crusader the footing that he needed in the games industry.
