Bomberman: Act Zero

Bomberman Act Zero

The original Bomberman is still considered to be one of the best arcade games of all time, and much like most arcade games – Bomberman was characterized by a bright color palette and recognizable mascot character design. Its sequel Bomberman: Act Zero, which was released in 2003, completely changed this light-hearted arcade romp into a dark tale of a dystopia. Players reprise the role of a realistic Bomberman, as he fights to the surface of the Earth by escaping soul-crushingly difficult levels. With a needlessly dark plot surrounding a repetitive gameplay loop and no save games, Bomberman: Act Zero is also considered by many to be one of the worst video game sequels of all time.
