The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask
While Ganon has always threatened the denizens of Hyrule with his never-ending antics, the tale of Link always fulfilling his destiny and defeating him has carried a charm that’s not too different from children’s fables. This doesn’t stand true for The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. While the game does feature some light-hearted sections such as playing hide-and-seek with children, they are overshadowed by the constant threat of an apocalypse that will happen in three days. This tangible sense of threat and urgency is what makes Majora’s Mask so different from other entries in the franchise, although that might not be a bad thing per se.
