Lost Odyssey

I’m still waiting for this announcement, hopeful that one day Microsoft will see how big a franchise this can become and what fools they have been to ignore Lost Odyssey for all these years. Lost Odyssey was a beautiful game, with very few faults of its own, a wonderful world, great story, and everything that one could ask for in a JRPG. Fans have been literally begging for a sequel. So here’s hoping Microsoft sees sense (finally) and announces Lost Odyssey 2.

Perfect Dark

Perfect Dark on the N64 is, till this day, one of the most memorable First Person Shooters ever, and Perfect Dark Zero, while not the best follow up to a game as legendary as that, wasn’t bad either. Microsoft should really get their head in the game, because Perfect Dark is a franchise with great potential. A Perfect Dark game, handled propery, would be great, especially in the grown FPS crowd. Add in an awesome online mode, and we have the perfect game on our hands… if only Microsoft was smart enough to figure that out on its own.

Midtown Madness

Midtown Madness 2 is, till date, one of the best racers I have ever played. The joy I got from jumping over the London Bridge, smashing cars in San Franciso, driving off a mall’s roof and landing on a bus and driving on the London Underground train tracks in insurmountable, and no other racing game has ever come close to that. We’ve been waiting like craven… well, people for a new Midtown Madness game. It’d be great to have Midtown Madness 4 on the Xbox 360. Let’s just hope Microsoft feels the same way.

Zoo Tycoon

Zoo Tycoon games have always been a great lot of fun, and they’re imaginative and innovative nature is a sheer delight for all gamers. Not just that, they’re incredibly appealing too, so all kinds of gamers- casuals or hardcore- can enjoy them. And with the money involved in the franchise, it’s surprising to see Microsoft hasn’t given it another shot. Here’s hoping we’ll see a new Zoo Tycoon game soon, and that it will live up to the franchise’s quality.
